Volkswagen unveiled its SUV concept, the Cross Coupe, at the 42nd Tokyo motor show today. The ‘SUV of the future', is an all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid that hints at the future aesthetic of such a model from the brand. Dimensionally the Cross Coupe slots between the Golf hatchback and the current Tiguan baby SUV, with the CC's short overhangs contributing to its short length and overall sporting dynamic.

Aston Martin has revealed a new customisation programme for their cars – Q by Aston Martin – which debuts at Geneva. Q by Aston Martin is AML’s latest ploy to garner more revenue from their cars, and is said to bring together Aston Martin designers, engineers and craftsmen (and women, no doubt) to offer buyers of Aston Martins the ultimate choice in personalisation and customisation.
